can't they give it back If they have sincerely done the very best job possible, why oew't it just be <br />given back? <br />We would like an agent from your office to meet with us especially when the lands involved <br />affect all of us the rest of our lives. If you wait to long, the damage is irreversible. If they are <br />permitted to get away with shortcuts and changing land classifications at their discretion as well <br />as continuing to take our best topsoil, even you won't be able to fix it. We will still be here when <br />everyone from the mine are long gone or retired. They get a regular paycheck, we depend on <br />what we can produce off the land. We are not livestock people, we raise crops to make our <br />living. <br />Some of the terminology and descriptions as well as classifications in the initial <br />paperwork at the courthouse is all wrong: We would also like to be notified of any changes the <br />mine intends to try to make without having to depend on the Forum Newspaper. Sometimes we <br />buy the Forum,-sometimes we don't. Lloyds and Bensons etc. may never get a Forum <br />Newspaper. All landowners should be made aware of any changes or proposals by not only a <br />letter, which we never got, but because we live right here, they could come and tell us since it <br />does affect our entire lives. We do not like to think the mine is always trying to sneak something <br />by without anyone noticing. I do not feel that any decisions should be <br />made intelligently unless you have met with us and heard another side. We can share the facts as <br />we know them with pictures, maps, productions records, and many many people who can vewrify <br />the facts. We do not understand how people can meet and make a decision that is a major one <br />without allowing us to be a part of that decision. Promises and agreements should have to be <br />honored. Verbal agreements in the State of Colorado are still considered legal and binding <br />contracts. Please visit with us and help us.
