It is now
9:30pm and after reading your letter we do not have many options on short notice, of
requiring more mapping on the north wall except to request an extension until that
mapping can occur. Hopefully we can get that done quicker than the last time, but one to
two weeks is the earliest that can occur unless the surveyor is faster than last time or not
as busy.
Item two of the backfilling. Most of the north wall has been backfilled or
partially filled and about %2 to 2/3 of the area has been reduced to 3H:1 V as soon as we
complete the backfilling on the remainder of the area, it can be pulled down to a 3H: IV.
Currently we are pulling the material for the backfilling from the southeast side of the pit
to remove the overburden so the remainder of that area can be mined at a 3H: IV. At the
present time it looks like there will be ample material to complete the backfill from that
area. We also have the overburden to move on the area adjacent to the north wall next to
the backfill area. I will try to take a couple of pictures that can show the progress on the
north wall.
Since ly,
Leon Moores
