amecgO <br />Earth & Environmental <br />2. Sediment Collection Pond <br />Stripping has been completed. <br />C. Waste Rock to Stockpile: <br />1. VLF <br />All oversized material located in the fill from Stations K4+00 to 8+00 and 0 to 100-foot <br />left was pushed out of the fill area, stockpiled and has been removed to Joe Dandy haul <br />road. <br />2. Sediment Collection Pond <br />Excess rock from the pond excavation has been stockpiled for future removal and for <br />use in the mine remediation. <br />D. Cut to Fill <br />1. VLF <br />Continued placing structural fill intermittently during the week in the VLF from <br />approximate Stations K6+00(+/-) to K9+00(+/-), approximately 0 to 75-feet left of <br />centerline. Fill was hauled from the LOB Delivery Road cut areas and sediment <br />collection pond excavation. Benching each subsequent lift to remove any frozen or <br />unsuitable material was conducted using a Cat D-6 dozer while the fill progresses. All <br />fill placed as per method specification as outlined in the Project Specifications. Fill <br />temperature checks were performed during the day and night shifts for project <br />compliance. <br />2. Sediment Collection Pond: <br />Night Work: Excavation continued during the week and was completed by mid week. <br />Cut material was transported to the VLF and placed between Stations K6+00(+/-) to <br />K9+00(+/-), 0 to 75-feet left. All oversize rock was stockpiled for future transport to <br />the Joe Dandy haul road and for use as mine shaft backfill in the VLF. <br />E. Subgrade Preparation <br />1. VLF <br />No work performed this week <br />2. Sediment Collection Pond <br />No work performed this week. <br />F. SLF Processing (Material is being generated/processed for the LOB and the VLF) <br />There was no production of the SLF material located in SGOSA (Squaw Gulch <br />Overburden Storage Area) Dump 5 this past week. A new plant is due to arrive. <br />The materials screening plant, for the processing of construction materials, located at <br />AGOSA (Arequa Gulch Overburden Storage Area) northwest of Ames maintenance area, <br />has not been in production this past week. . <br />Sheet 2 of 8 VLF Weekly Report WE 03.21.09.1)
