The area had received some snores on Saturday, which was, <br />evident at the `time of the inspection. <br />Inspected the valley leach facility with Mark Vanoni. Inspected the Phase IVC drainage <br />enhanced area. `It was covered with snow but appeared to be in good repair: <br />Inspected the,pad area where CC&V had drilled and placed some PVC pipes to. directly pump <br />lime on to targeted.area:for better recovery of the gold. <br />Inspected the Phases. I,II,II&IV pregnant ponds and collected the following readings from <br />the High and.Lo.w volume solution collection transducers. <br />Phase I High Volume`Solution collection transducer # 1 was recorded at 22.4 #:2 was at <br />31.9 AND.#'3 WAS-AT 30..0. Low volume solution collection transducer # 1.'was at .24 and "# 2 <br />was at.43 <br />Phase II &III High,Volume Solution Collection transducer $ 4 was.recorded at 15.6.and #-,5 <br />was at 20.3 and 6 was at 15.5, Piezmeter for the pond was recorded at 25.9. Low volume <br />solution collection transducer ## 1 was at .13 and # 2 was at 42 <br />Phase IV.High.Volume'solution collection transducer # 7 was recorded at21.5 # 8 was at <br />19.9 # 10,was at 19.>9 and #"l0 was at 19.5. Low volume transducer # 1 was at 16.7 and # 2 <br />was at 4.8 `inches of hydrostatic head,( ALL hydrostatic readings; unless otherwise noted <br />are in feet of:hydro static head. <br />Inspected the external pong., it was holding some partially frozen water. The-low volume <br />solution collection transducer ##.1 for the pond was at 11.0' and # 2 was at 9.6 inches of. - <br />: hydro static head. <br />Inspected the under drain-discharge area. All lower ponds were dry, with.. the"exception. of <br />the large pond 'which was holding a very small partially frozen water. while in.the area <br />collected an _eight'once sample from the 4 inch pipe discharge for 'wad cyanide analysis. <br />The south under drain was dry. <br />Inspected AG-1.5 IT:WAS DRY, with the exception of the snow cover.in the flume area. Snow <br />was removed .from •the flue'to verify that it was dry. <br />With Gray Goodrich and Tim Comer, inspected the construction_progress.area as approved in <br />Amendment #9. Pulled up in an area South of the.old pad # 3 and 4'4reas, that shows most <br />of the active construction zone.and observed the entire active construction area..Work'is <br />progressing in -new.Load out bin move area, clay sorting, old ruby leach'pa.d. Looked at-the <br />progress of the visual overburden berm along the city.of Southfield, Top_so:il placement is <br />progressing. Operator was notified that if CC&V, WANTS TO LEAEV THE BERM IN :PLACE <br />PERMANETLY, THE SLOPES WILL HAVE TO BE REWORKED TO AVERAGE 2:1 OR GENTLER. At present, <br />they are placed at angl.e of repose.
