Three of these
sites are planned to be drilled with helicopter access and will not require road construction. Two others will be
drilled on existing roads on MCC's property.
The remaining sites (other than 2009D that is located on an old drill pad) will be located on Forest Service
lands within the areas approved by the Division (per PR14 and the Forest Service `s November 2007 record of
decision) that are represented by the polygons/circles on the PR14 maps. Those exploration drill holes located
on sites previously approved (per PR-14) will be cased for future mine ventilation use, if need be.
It is our understanding that both the Western Slope Environmental Resource Council and the Town of Paonia
will receive a courtesy copy of the MR352 completeness letter, as well as the final approval documentation, as
is the case for all MCC applications, per their earlier requests. These notifications should aid in verifying both
your and our commitment to transparency and disclosure.
Please contact me at (970)929-2238 or by e-mail should you have questions.
SincerelyOeen KaG.
