Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety called the application for the BDRS Drill Project
complete on September 22, 2008. Per Rule 5.1.3(b) an applicant had 60 days from the time of notice of
deficiencies including the Financial Warranties to correct them. DRMS notified Nuvemco on January
26, 2009 that it had until February 27, 2009 to correct the deficiency otherwise the Notice would be
denied. Nuvemco requested some additional time as it has some review issues with the BLM. Staff
extended the date to 60 days from the January 26 notice which is March 27, 2009.
On April 3, 2009 Nuvemco requested that the NOI application be withdrawn as BLM issues have not
been resolved. DRMS has noted the request and the NOI application is hereby withdrawn. If Nuvemco
wishes in the future to proceed with the project it must be resubmitted as a new NOI or be part of regular
mining permit application.
If you need additional information, please contact me at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501,
telephone no. 970.241.1117.
Sincerely,
G.
