A. program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A .DVD drive will read it CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the.tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and muhi-page documents, On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "°Windows Picture <br />and fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView.' The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can. be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default.tif viewer. DMO does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and. registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for. V11ridows". <br />instructlons: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to iristall, <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer, <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this Cll. If the Autorun program. <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program.. <br />Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us. <br />The Permit File document images can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD. The CDIDVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of maldag the CD.
