MANAGEMENT
On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL), enclosed is an application for a minor
revision to provide for the installation of an emergency escape hoist over the Hubbard
Creek Shaft. The escape hoist is comprised of an electric powered cable wench, head
frame and man cage. A propane powered generator will provide the required electrical
power.
The permit application package provides for the installation of two 10.5 foot diameter
ventilation shafts in Hubbard Creek. BRL has determined that only one will be required.
Therefore, this revision will request release of bond for the estimated reclamation
expense of one of the ventilation shafts.
All work contemplated by this revision will be performed on the existing Hubbard Creek
shaft site. There will be no additional disturbance.
Amended Map 39, page 2.05-16 and a reclamation bond estimate are enclosed. The
bond should be reduced approximately $38,000 as a result one shaft being deleted
from the approved plan.
Sincerely,
J. E. tover, P.
