(970) 247-1184 <br />Fax: (970) 247-5104 <br />From: Bear, Basil [mailto:BasilBear@BowieResources.com] <br />Sent: Friday, March 27, 2009 10:43 AM <br />To: Talvitie, Marcia <br />Subject: Bowie <br />Marcia: <br />There was approximately 9 hours spent on Friday the 271h (6 hours contractor, 3 hours supervision) cutting the <br />diagonal ditch across road, building a temporary collection basin, re-grading the entire road from gate to <br />approximately the first turn, placing straw bales in ditch and cleaning up area outside the gates. <br />On Monday, March 2, there was approximately 12 hours spent setting (8 hours contractor, 3 hours supervision), <br />collecting materials (straw bales, steel rods, misc.) notching and securing additional straw bales along the haul <br />road, completing the collection basin, cutting one additional collection ditch diagonally across the road and <br />additional cleanup. Bowie also elected to go ahead and install approximately 1,000 feet of silt fence along the <br />south side of access road and place additional straw bales in ditch running along north side of road. Total time <br />with this was over 14 hours x 3 people. <br />Total hours spent on this was approximately 63 man hours and 14 machine hours using a trackhoe and road <br />grader. <br />Basil Bear <br />3/27/2009
