III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division). This mine site is currently completing the final <br />stages of reclamation of disturbed areas. Ground conditions were dry and the weather was <br />clear and mild. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />The weir box for Pond 5 is now installed (below). The pond water level was well below the <br />lowest set of holes on the primary riser. The primary riser configuration was checked and is <br />exactly as per the approved design as shown on Ex. Figure 15-14 of the permit application. <br />The sediment marker tape should be checked and refreshed as required. <br />,Ir ' <br />' Ai? <br /> <br />The repairs to pond 9 primary spillway (shown below) are now complete. A new trash rack <br />has also been reset on the top of the riser. Please check that the number of holes on the <br />riser is in accordance with the approved design. Re-certification of the repair should be done
