Nuvemco, LLC's Monogram Mine M-1978-222UG <br />Response to Preliminary Adequacy Review <br />March 10, 2009 <br />Permit Exhibit Review: <br />Rule 6: <br />The application has an Exhibit T as required under Rule 6.1.4. <br />Per Rule 6.2.1 (K(b) all maps must be prepared and signed by a registered land surveyor, professional engineer, <br />or other qualified person. All maps supplied do not have the required signatures of the person who prepared <br />them. Please provide two sets of signed maps with any modifications required under this review. <br />Enclosed are two copies of each map signed and stamped by qualified person, E. Thomas <br />Cavanaugh, CPG, PG. <br />Exhibit C. Pie-Mining Ma <br />6.4.3 (a), addressed on Map AA, <br />(b), San Miguel Power is noted within the Mine Plan as having a power line "which crosses and runs <br />NW to SE adjacent to the property". Furlher clarification is requested below, but please note that if the <br />power lines are within or cross the permit boundaries they are required on Maly C-1, <br />(c), appears to be adequate, <br />(d), appears to be adequate for the pit area, a map of the office / ore bin area of the same detail as Map <br />C-2 is requested below, <br />(e), appears to be adequately addressed in Exhibit J, <br />(f), appears to be addressed in Exhibit G, <br />(g), staff notes references to other portals, shafts, and the power lines. Please clarify and note on Map C- <br />2 the portals referenced on Maps C-1 and F. <br />(h), addressed in Exhibit 1. <br />(b) Power lines have been added to all maps and a new "Map A-2 - Monogram Mesa Power <br />Lines" has been added. A Power Line terminus is near the southeastern corner of the MS 20232 <br />Great Hesper claim. This end of the line and former power drop location does not enter the <br />permit boundary, but runs southwest across the Anna May and Wilson claims to the main Power <br />Line. <br />(d) Map C-2b is enclosed with supplemental photos to detail staging area including office and <br />storage units, berms, and planned ore bins. Note that the first phase of the Monogram <br />Designated Mining Operation will disturb 8.3 of a possible 48.38 acres of disturbance with any <br />modifications to the mining and reclamation plans to be addressed with technical revisions. <br />(g) As noted above, power lines have been added to the Maps. The portals shown on Map C-1 <br />are approximate locations added by surveyor at sites of pre-existing mines or reclaimed portals, <br />or from the USGS topographic map. Those in the Monogram disturbed area are small and if <br />associated with ore will be removed in the mining of the knob and filled in and reclaimed in the <br />reclamation phase of the plan of operations. <br />2
