February 6, 2008
LRES'"VURCES,LLC
Mr. Carl Mount RECEIVED
Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety FEB 0 7 2006
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203 Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety
RE: Pioneer Sand & Gravel, Permit No. M-2003-0116- Heit Pit Resource; Technical Revision 4 -
Discharge Points
Dear Mr. Mount:
It has come to our attention that the Mining Plan for the Heit Resource did not indicate Pioneer's discharge
points in the northwest and southwest corner of the Site. These discharge points allow the dewatering
water to return to Little Dry Creek via a water conveyance easement. As a result, on behalf of Pioneer Sand
and Gravel and SW Chambers, LLC we are submitting the following: 1) $188 application fee; 2) description
of Technical Revision (this letter); and 3) a revised Mining Plan indicating the location of the discharge
points.
This Technical Revision shows the proposed areas to the north and south that Pioneer is utilizing to
discharge water back to Little Dry Creek, consistent with their CDPS permit. The revised Mining Plan
illustrates where Pioneer Sand and Gravel will discharge their dewatering water. The discharge is occurring
within a water conveyance easement that will ultimately convey water to and from the reclaimed water
storage pond via Little Dry Creek.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
CIVIL RESOURCES, LLC
Andy Rodriguez, P.E.
Encl: Permit Boundary Adjustment Figure & SWMP Figure
JAPioneer Sand - 17ffechnical Revision 4 Permit Boundary7ech Rev #4.doc
