In
making this approval, the Division has determined that milling of Cross Mine materials at the Gold Hill Mill does not constitute
custom milling under the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board. The conditions of the
Division approval are noted below. Please note that all other provisions of Permit No. M-1994-117 remain in full force and
effect.
Stipulation No. Description
Collect one grab and one composite sample of tailings from milling of Cross Mine materials within the first thirty
days after milling commences. Notify the Division at least three working days in advance of sample collection so
that an audit of the sampling activities and split sampling can be conducted. Have the samples analyzed using the
Synthetic Precipitation:Leaching Procedure by a laboratory EPA certified in that procedure, and report the results
to the Division as soon as they are available, but no later than 90 days following initial milling of Cross Mine
materials.
Be advised that the only approved tailing disposal facility for the Gold Hill_ Mill is the adjacent lined tailing pond. Be advised
that this approval does not absolve Mount Royale Ventures from the need to obtain any other necessary Federal, State, or Local
approvals. In particular, section 34-32-109(6) of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act makes Mount Royale Ventures
responsible for assuring that the milling operation complies with local land use regulations.
STATE OF COLORADO
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation I7anvnr rranrl hinrt;- . il--- . - 1 - - _.• -
