Dear Mr. Cunningham,
We have received the Division's Adequacy Review 01 request for additional information relating
to GP Ranches, LLC's (GP) application for permit number M-2008-078. GP offers the following
additional information addressing the Division's questions and requests.
General requirements
1. The Division received comments from the Colorado Historical Society, Colorado Division of Water
Resources and Army Corps of Engineers. The letters are attached for your review. Please address
the comments noted in the letters and make any changes in the application as necessary.
The comments noted in the letters do not require that changes be made to the application as
they are already addressed.
Application Form
2. The Certification Page has not been filled out completely. Please submit a replacement page and
include a corporate seal. If there is no corporate seal, then either write "no seal" or draw a seal. In
addition, the Company Name does not match the name that is registered with the Secretary of
State's (SOS) office. Please list the Company Name exactly as it is registered with the SOS.
A replacement Certification Page is attached.
6 .4.1 Exhibit A - Legal Description and Location Map - No Comment
An updated legal description has been attached that reflects a minor change to the permit
boundary that was made to accommodate a future CDOT highway realignment and the
coordinates of the location of the mine entrance. The mine entrance was moved because the
processing area was moved to the north to address concerns from the property owners adjacent
to the south side of the site. The net result is that the permit boundary area and mining area
have been reduced in size.
