Box 459
Florence, CO 81226
RE: KERR COAL COMPANY RETEN'T'ION POND "F'
JACKSON COUNTY COLORADO
Dear Mr. Patterson:
Thank you for taking time to help ensure Silver Spur Land & Cattle will continue
to have adequate water supplies for livestock and wildlife on our Bureau of Land
Management grazing allotments. Without Pond "F", that area of our grazing permit
cannot be utilized because of lack of water.
Additionally, thank you for drafting a letter for me to send to the Colorado
Division of Minerals and Geology. I have transferred it onto our letterhead and enclosed
it for you. I spoke with our Bureau of Land Management Range Conservationist at the
Kremmling Field Office and he is willing to draft an additional letter on behalf of the
BLM and will send it to the CDMG.
Mr. Greg Sykes is no longer with Silver Spur and I have taken his place. If you
have any more questions of concerns, please feel free to contact me at 970 723 4024 or
970 227 0951.
Sincerely,
Daniel McCarty
SILVER SPUR LAND & CATTLE, L.L.C.
