J <br />Figure 4.1 provides an Update of the process flow diagram. <br />Figure 4-1 <br />?c,ra1lZ X110. yyyy <br />Itf \1 A11HINt. <br />8%M21 <br />A(XNU <br />-? ?H1FH? <br />1N.1tt 1'1(1%" F1.1 <br />NATURAL SOh.A PROCESS FLOW <br />4.1.4 Wells Associated With the NSl Project <br />The lbllowing well-field related activities occurred in 2008: <br />• The 711-1 V vertical recovery well was drilled into the 711 cavity. <br />• The 711-1 V well was redrilled an additional - 7 tect. <br />• The 511-1 V well was redrilled to remove obstructions from the bottom of the casing. <br />A summary of NSI wells as of 0 1 /0 1/2008 follows: <br />• Six active production wells: 511, 5H-1 V, 611, 711-I. 7H-R, and 7H-1 V. <br />• Nineteen active nonitoring wells <br />• Four active subsidence monitoring wells <br />• One raw water supply well, 90-1 (Active) <br />• Five new proposed «ells <br />• Fifteen plug„ed and abandoned wells <br />4.1.5 Other Activities <br />The potent iometric Icvels monitored in the surrounding Dissolution Surface aquifer monitoring <br />wells provided continuous data, which was used to manage production/recovery operations at <br />each of the active cavities. Throughout the year injection and recovery rates were successfully <br />adjusted to maintain monitoring well levels to target levels. <br />2008 Annual Report 5 of 28
