proctor. This new material appears to exceed the 3:1 slope and does not look <br />compacted. It is recommended that the actual slope be surveyed and that compaction <br />tests be performed to assure compliance. On top of the pile, photo 6, dump truck loads <br />of material have been placed without spreading or compaction. This material need to be <br />spread out and compacted as specified. Other parts of the top are irregular and water <br />may pond in small pools. Efforts should be made to keep this area uniformly sloping <br />towards the side drainage ditch as specified in the design plans. <br />Except for the items mentioned above the fill on the waste pile has been constructed as <br />specified in the design approved by the Division of Minerals and Geology
