Augmentation: Blading of access road and addition of contour furrow on a short section of outslope <br />of the access road. The access road is an approved permanent feature. <br />Weed control: Weed Management for Canada thistle and Scotch thistle. Locations shown on <br />Drawing 1 "2006 Mine Area Reclamation". Product used and timing of application <br />is described in the report. <br />f) Location, number of acres, and date of planting of all previously vegetated areas: 348.6 acres as <br />shown on Drawing 1 and 2. <br />2) Additional info as committed to in the permit <br />All areas except 0.2 acres at the loadout (Loadout pond and ditch) have been reclaimed or have been <br />permitted to be retained as permanent features. Although the Mine access road is approved as permanent <br />and does not require further reclamation, the road has been retained as a part of the permit to provide access <br />to the remaining 8 acres at the mine site. Previously, there had been a discrepancy between KCC's reported <br />total disturbed acreage and the Division's records.
