Earthen slopes will be constructed at stable slope angles of 3:1. Compaction will be <br />approximately 80 to 90 percent of optimum just using normal scraper earthwork <br />techniques typical of residential site preparation. Planned end land use is reclaimed <br />cropland, so minor compaction settlement over time is not of concern. <br />Blasting is not a consideration. No blasting operations are part of this proposed <br />mining and reclamation plan permit amendment application. <br />69
