mr- <br />_ r <br />9 r r <br />r r <br />- = r <br />r r r <br />Western Slope Aggregate, Inc. <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />RE: M-1981-207 <br />Blue Pit <br />Annual Fee/Report <br />March 2, 2009 <br />Mining continued this past year along the north boundary headed west between stations 14 + 00 and 16 <br />+ 00 at and elevation of 6110. Part of the area between stations 15 + 00 and 16 + 00 have been mined <br />down to and elevation of 6099. <br />Western Slope Aggregate has not underwent any striping activities during the 2008 operating season. <br />The existing 25,806 cubic yards of topsoil that is placed between stations 0 + 00 and 3 + 00 is still in <br />place for later reclamation use. <br />The pit has also taken in 65,000 cubic yards of inert material that was placed on the southeast property <br />line at station 5 + 00 and pushed around to the north boundary headed west. This material was placed <br />in two-foot (2") lifts as to keep the slope stabilized to accept finish sloping. We have followed the "TR- <br />003 Technical Review" and have inspected each load coming in as well as their placement. <br />No new reclamation has been done. <br />"Financial Warranty" is in place.
