<br />i <br />EEC Project No. 1082030 <br />Turnpike Reservoir -Feasibility Study <br />May 5, 2008 <br />Page 3 <br />Earth Engineering Consultants, Inc. <br />Based on the results of our initial field exploration and laboratory testing, the cohesive <br />bedrock strata appears to exhibit shear strength and permeability characteristics suitable <br />for reuse as an earthen liner material. Recommendations for the reuse of those materials <br />are contained herein. Further geotechnical recommendations concerning design and <br />construction of the proposed Turnpike Reservoir are provided within the text of the <br />enclosed report. <br />We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project.
