<br />filing. All review and comment periods
<br />as provided in the Act and Regulations
<br />promulgated thereunder initiate from this
<br />day of filing.
<br />The permit area contains some 9,216 acr-
<br />es of federal coal lease and 11,789 acres
<br />of surface area. These areas are situated
<br />`in T2N, R101W and T3N, R101W, 6th j
<br />P.M. in Rio Blanco County about 10 miles
<br />east of the Town of Rangely. It includes
<br />lands containing almost all of RBC Road '
<br />65, eastern part` of RBC Road 96, and
<br />western portions of RBC Road 78. The
<br />Deserado Mine Permit area lies within
<br />USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps enti- '
<br />bed "RangelyNE and "Cactus Reservoir".
<br />A copy of the permit revision application
<br />is available for public inspection at the
<br />Town Clerk's office, Town Hall in Range-
<br />ly. Written comments, objections,. re- i
<br />;quests for informal conference, or re- l
<br />quests for a public hearing held in the lo-
<br />cality of the proposed mining operation
<br />for the purpose of determining whether ,A
<br />the' interests of the public and affected
<br />SS.

<br />editor acting on behalf of Mitch Bettis, owner/publisher
<br />of the Rio Blanco Herald Times, formerly known as The
<br />Meeker Herald and The Rangely Times weekly
<br />newspapers; that the same is a weekly newspaper
<br />published in the County of Rio Blanco, State of Colorado,
<br />and has a general circulation therein; that said
<br />newspaper has been published continuously and
<br />uninterruptedly in said County of Rio Blanco for a period
