• Based on the 2008 survey, all sediment ponds have sufficient sediment storage. Additionally, all ponds <br />have been discharging in compliance with the approved NPDES permit effluent limitations. Yearly <br />sediment delivery estimates to the ponds are considerably less than originally calculated, since <br />significant portions of these watersheds have now been revegetated. <br />The results of the annual survey are shown on Table 08.4, Sediment Pond Capacities. <br />STOCK TANKS <br />No stock tanks were constructed in 2008. <br />WILDLIFE MONITORING <br />Seneca Coal Company contracted )ones and Stokes to conduct wildlife monitoring at the Seneca <br />Yoast mine. The work included: <br />1. Monitoring known Sharp-tailed and Sage grouse leks and checking for new ones (April 28, <br />2008) <br />2.
