• 2.05.3
r ~
L_J
•
Three or more gob vent boreholes GVBs are required over each longwall panel.
Additionally, exploratory holes will be drilled within the permit boundary. Run-offfrom
the related drill pads may not go through a treatment facility such as a sediment
pond. Run-off from the pads that does not report to a sediment pond will be filtered
through a sediment fence. Design of sediment fences for drill pad configurations are
presented in Volume III, Exhibit 8 beginning on pages Exh-8 - 107 and Exh-8-223.
The three typical drill pads are designed on a 3H:1 V slope, 5H:1 V slope and 10H:1 V
slope. The typical sediment fence configuration, berms and ditches for the various
slopes and pad sizes are shown on Maps 36, 36a and 36b. The following table lists
each drill hole and its design drill pad:
Drill Holes -Original Ground Slope Information
Identifier Hole Name Slope Identifier Hole Name Slope
063 GVB-D-26 10:1 138 14 Geotech N/A
041 GVB-D-7A 3:1 139 3 Alluvial Wells N/A
042 GVB-D-5A 3:1 141 GVB-B1-A,B&C 10:1
044 GVB-D-4B 5:1 142 B-Burn-24 N/A
051 GVB-WD-3C 5:1 143 TC-05-04 N/A
052 GVB-WD-36 3:1 144 GVB-B2-A&C & B3A,B N/A
053 GVB-WD-2B 3:1 145 GVB-61-A1 3:1
054 GVB-WD-3A 10:1 147 GVB-82-A1 3:1
055 GVB-WD-2A 10:1 148 GVB-63-A2 3:1
059 GVB-D-4C 10:1 149 GVB-B3-A1 3:1
060 GVB-D-SB 5:1 151 GVB-B2-B 10:1
061 GVB-D-SC 10:1 152 GVB-62-A2 3:1
062 GVB-D-6C 5:1 153 GVB-6A, 66, 6C 3:1,5:1,5:1
064 GVB-D-6A 5:1 155 GVB-4A, 5A 3:1, 3:1
065 GVB-D-66 3:1 158 G3-1 through G3-6 10:1
066 GVB-D-7B 5:1 159 GeoTech-04 10:1
068 DH-57 10:1 161 GVB-6D 10:1
070 DH-58 10:1 162 GVB-6E 10:1
075 GVB-D-7C 10:1 164 GVB-7A 10:1
077 GVB-D-5D 5:1 165 GVB-76 5:1
078 GVB-WD-1A 10:1 166 GVB-7C 10:1
050 GVB-WD-2C 5:1 167 GVB-7D. 10:1
080 GVB-WD-16 10:1 173 GVB-96 & 106 10:1
083 Geo-TCH-01 10:1 174 GVB-9C & 10C 10:1
084 Geo-TCH-02 10:1 175 GVB-11 C 10:1
085 Geo-TCH-03 5:1 176 GVB-8A & 9D 10:1
087 GVB-D-8C 10:1 177 GVB-10D 10:1
090 GVB-D-8B 5:1 178 GVB-11D 10:1
092 GVB-D-9B 3:1 179 GVB-86 & 9E 10:1
094 GVB-D-8A&9A 3:1 180 GVB-10E 10:1
096 IP-99-16 10:1 181 GVB-11 E 10:1
102 IP-99-11 3:1 186 & 187 HC-08-01 & 02 3:1
120 KM-3 3:1 189 11 Geotech Holes N/A
129 P-B-Burn-22 10:1 190 GVB-8A-A 10:1
130 P-B-Burn-23 10:1
131 TC-03-01 10:1
132, 133, 136 TC-03-02, 03, 06 10:1
M R-92 2.05 - 34 - 11 /08
A P~2ovE~
l~~i~c~8
