Send invoice and proof of <br />publication to the letterhead address. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />New Elk Coal Company, LLC, 136 West Main St., Trinidad, Colorado 81082, has filed <br />an application for the transfer of Permit C-81-013 for the Golden Eagle Mine with the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS). The site is currently <br />permitted by Basin Resources, Inc., 2 North Cascade Avenue, Second Floor, Colorado <br />Springs, Colorado 80903. The Golden Eagle Mine is located 25 miles west of Trinidad, <br />Colorado in Las Animas County. The mine permit area consisting of 250 acres located <br />in portions of Sections 19, 20, 28 and 29, T33S, R67W, within the area shown on the <br />USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle map of `Vigil, CO'. <br />A copy of the permit application and transfer documents are available for public <br />inspection at the County Clerk's Office, Las Animas County Courthouse, 200 East First <br />Street, Trinidad, Colorado. Additional information may be obtained and written <br />comments on the application submitted to DRMS, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203 within 15 days of the date of publication of this notice.
