Located in the N/2 <br />of section 18, T12S, R74W; Park County Colorado (Mine area operator is requesting <br />concurrent site CUP to operate equipment as necessary at site) <br />Dear Ms. George: <br />I have spoken with Mr, Ron Zaecagini with the DOW about the _abovementioneci <br />project and he said the DOW would provide a comment as previous and for me to send <br />the request to your Office there in . Denver. I have also attached a map, a espy of the <br />previous comment letter from the DOW from the original mine -permit area and a notice <br />letter from park County Planning Director. <br />Elk Mountain Cattle Company is submitting a Rezoning Application for a change <br />in zone designation from Ag to Mine. In response to the attached Notification Letter of <br />August 20, 2007 concerning the expiration of the County CUP for the site back in 2001. <br />Elk Mountain Cattle Company is seeking to rezone, as suggested in the letter, the 66.80 <br />acres within the DRM&S Permit area from agriculture to a mine zone. This would allow <br />the site to be mined to the existing gravel ltesoutee limits (life of the mime teseNeS) withib <br />the permit area and be reclaimed-.without- further "time- limited, 3-year" CUP's being
