DRMS met with
Anne Best-Johnson and two other representatives of Lafarge at the nearby Kyger site and proceeded to the Three Bells site from there.
The gated site entrance is located off the north side of Road 32E / CO 68.5 and is marked with a large sign. The site boundary areas
corresponded to the property fence boundaries, and the required postings were present.
The active areas of the site as depicted on the 2008 annual report map were inspected and appeared to be in compliance at this time.
No additional activity at the site was observed. Shoreline sloping for final reclamation appears to be underway on the SE part of the
large reservoir, and landscaping was underway along the south and east sides of the active site area. Bond for the site is currently
$758,400. This appears to be adequate as long as concurrent reclamation of the large reservoir continues in a timely fashion.
This concluded the inspection and DRMS departed the site at approximately 1330.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Robert Ray
OPERATOR: Lafarge West Inc
STREET: 10170 Church Ranch Way.
