III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br /> Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br /> the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br /> facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br /> This was an aerial inspection of the Carbon Junction Mine flown by Harry Ranney on February 19, <br /> 2009. Tom Kaldenbach examined digital images from the flight on a computer screen on February 24, <br /> 2008. <br /> Thirteen photos were taken during the flyover; five representative photos are shown below. The <br /> ground was partially covered with snow,hindering inspection.
