Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require anew installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to bean image viewing application for _tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents- On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView_ The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "lrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView ', it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer, DRMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration ate the user's responsibility- There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />rnstructions <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Fject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOT13- A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />does NOrl' work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program <br />Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co-us. <br />The Permit Fite document images can be viewed in the reception area of the DRIBS office or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD.
