• This report is prepared in five sections. After this introduction, conclusions and <br />recommendations from the study are presented in section 2.0, followed by a discussion of <br />subsidence mechanisms in section 3.0. Geologic conditions and subsidence <br />characteristics are presented in section 4.0, including rock mechanics data, subsidence <br />parameters, and a discussion of the influence of other factors such as gate pillar designs <br />and surface topography on surface deformation. Predicted deformation patterns are <br />presented in section 5 using three-dimensional subsidence models that account for <br />variations in overburden thickness over the Dove Gulch study area. <br /> <br />• <br />Maleki Technologies, Inc.
