Building • <br />There are no buildings present at the Bowie #2 Mine under the current mine permit <br />term. <br />Power Lines <br />The power lines along Terror Creek lies entirely outside the limits of mining and will <br />not be affected by subsidence. <br />Reservoirs <br />Terror Creek Reservoir lies entirely outside the limits of mining and should not be <br />affected by subsidence. <br />Pipelines <br />No pipelines are present at the Bowie #2 Mine so no consideration is given at this <br />time. <br />Roads <br />Numerous jeep trails cross areas of predicted substantial subsidence. However, <br />subsidence should not result in serious damage to the roads provided surface fracturing <br />and cracking does not accompany the subsidence. Any minor damage which occurred <br />could be readily repaired with a grader and/or dozer. <br />Brid es <br />There are no bridges within the area of predicted subsidence at the Bowie #2 Mine. <br />Stockponds <br />There are numerous stockponds within and adjacent to the permit area. The <br />probability of subsidence disrupting a pond is remote. Most ponds are located in areas <br />covered by colluvial soils; the occurrence of subsidence cracks is less probable in these <br />- 26 - 10/00 <br />PR-o y <br />
