Mr. Mark McLean and Mr. Angela Aldred
July 2, 2008
Page 2
season depletions (30.4 AF) will be covered with UVWUA shares and the non-irrigation
season depletions (9.0 AF) will be met with leased water from Blue Mesa Reservoir.
6. Western Gravel is proposing to use their UVWUA shares as collateral against ongoing
depletions in the unlikely event that the site is abandoned. Western Gravel owns 26.4
UVWUA shares and has the right to divert 0.53 cfs of water (222 AF of water per
irrigation season) that may be used for irrigation or Augmentation purposes. In the
unlikely event that the Olathe Gravel pit is abandoned, the maximum depletions from
evaporation are equivalent to 39.4 AF. As stated above, the irrigation season depletions
(30.4 AF) will be met with UVWUA shares and the non-irrigation season depletions (9.0
AF) will be leased from Blue Mesa Reservoir.
7. Lastly, both Wayne Schieldt and Bob Herford, find it acceptable to use the UV WUA as
Augmentation water for the Olathe Gravel Pit.
Please feel free to call with any questions or comments
Very truly yours,
WRIGHT WATER ENGINEERS.
