November 30, 2008
Attention Elizabeth Taliaferro
Program Assistant II
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman Street. Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Dear Ms. Taliaferro,
RECEIVED
DEC 0 3 2008
Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety
Enclosed is the Transfer of Permit and Succession of Operators Application again and
hopefully we have made the right corrections.
We did go to the Secretary of State Registration site for further information and still do
riot know when, why, or how come our trade name registration name had been changed to
"Moores Mining & Ranching & Sawmill" from the original registration of "Moores Mining,
Ranching & Sawmill". I have had some correspondence from the State with an extra "&" and I
assumed it was a typing error and did nothing about it. I will be trying to correct typing errors
when they occur from now on as I realize the difference one "&" can make now.
Some of our vehicles and checking accounts are titled under "Moores Mining, Ranching
and Sawmill"; also the reclamation permit, other permits and leases too. We thought it best to
correct the name at the Secretary of State site. I have enclosed a copy of this.
Therefore we did not have the notary initialize the name as "Moores Mining & Ranching
& Sawmill" after hopefully getting the name corrected.
On the Transfer of Permit application the notary has made the correction to change the
Successor to "Moores Mining, LLC." I apologize for not noticing the notary did not fill this in
correctly before. We should have noticed this.
If you need further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Moores Mining, Ranching & Sawmill
By Jean Moores
32907 Highway 141
Gateway, CO 81522
Phone 970-931-2802
jemoores@earthlink.net
