This TR provides for an additional angle borehole located at
the existing GVB-LW10-03 pad site (referred to as GVB-LW10-03B) and an additional angle
borehole located at the existing GVB-LW10-04 pad site (referred to as GVB-LW10-03C). Due
to a mid-panel move on Panel 10 an additional angle borehole is deemed to be necessary to
adequately ventilate the mine gob located between the GVB-LW 10-03 site located on USFS
managed lands and the GVB-LW10-04 site located on BLM managed lands. Successful
completion of the first borehole attempt may negate the requirement for completion of the
second borehole.
Oxbow has also been working these two boreholes through the USFS and BLM approval
processes and recognize the need for right of entry information before final CDRMS approval.
The cross section and plan view projections are shown on the attached GVB-10-03B and GVB-
10-03C drawings. A revised Drawing 2.05-M1, Sheet 6 of 6, "General Facilities, Gob Vent
Boreholes." will be submitted upon revision adequacy. In addition, we are submitting a revised
PAP pages for Exhibit 2.04-E3, Item 9 - Methane Drainage Well Information.
OMLLC has previously permitted gob vent borehole programs (TR 46, 48, 53, 54, 56 and 57).
The subject of this TR is consistent with the previous submittals.
Site Construction, Operation and Reclamation
The project will be very similar to that which had previously taken place for current borehole
sites. Overall, the sites will be accessed via the pre-existing Bear Creek canyon ranch road. As
0 Page 1
