Dear Mr. Pawlowski:
The Division has received your application for a technical revision to your permit to conduct coal mining
in Colorado. Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items required by Rule 2.08.5(4) have not
been submitted. Thus, your application is incomplete for the purposes of filing as of February 13, 2009.
Please provide text pursuant to Rules 2.05.4(2)(c) and 4.14 describing the backfilling and
grading operations in the West Pit.
2. In the cover letter to Technical Revision 79 Colowyo states that the revision includes an
updated PMT for the West Pit. The enclosed maps do not include new post-mining cross-
sections for the updated PMT. Pursuant to Rule 2.05.4(2)(c) please provide the required
post-mining cross-sections.
In accordance with Rule 2.07.3(1), you have the opportunity to amend, review, or otherwise make your
