A Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners
of Las Animas County, Colorado
making a Determination on Special Use Permit
Application # 08-011, by Mr. Joseph Gagrono on behalf of Robinson
Sons, Inc., seeking to establish and operate a gravel extraction
operation on property it owns, located in the vicinity of Weston, in
westem Las Animas County, Colorado
Resolution # 08-39
Whereas, Mr. Joseph Gagliano, Consultant with the firm of U
Development, Inc., representing Robinson Sons, Inc., has
filed application #08-011, seeking a Special Use Permit
to establish and operate a gravel extraction operation on
property that it owns, located in part of the S V2 of Section
26, T33S, R67W of the 6"' P.M., and more particularly
described In the documents incorporated within and
supporting said application; and
Whereas, SUP application # 08-011,, was initially considered by the Las
Animas County Planning Commission at its meeting held on
August 4, 2008, and was subsequently re-considered by the
Las Animas County Planning Commission at its meeting held
on September 8, 2008, at which time it was recommended
for approval to the Board of County Commissioners with
conditions; and
Whereas, A public hearing was held by the Board of County
Commissioners on September 2, 2008, at which time the
general public was afforded an opportunity to make
comment on SUP application # 08-011.
Now, therefore be it Resolved by the Board of County Commissioners
of Las Animas County, Colorado, that:
