OGCC
Energy
2. The permit boundary of the federal mining permit has been
added and is indicated in the Legend.
3. The Affected Area boundary to the east of the producing
workings (Mains) has been moved to encompass the expected angle of
draw. It is not clear why it was moved east in the prior submittal. As
near as I can tell, the change may have been a drafting error.
4. The last row of pillars was removed from the underground
workings in the area northwest of the Hay Gulch Cemetery to coincide
with the expected angle of draw and the Affected Area boundary.
2. Map King II-007 Operation Plan and Surface Features Map
a. Page 1 of Section 2.05.3 of the permit application has been
revised to accurately indicate which map shows the underground
workings.
3. Appendices 1, 2 & 3 (SEDCAD runs)
a, b, c, d, e. These sections have been revised in their entirety by
Tom Paluso, P.E. of EIS Environmental and Engineering Consulting
(EIS). They have been addressed item by item by Mr. Paluso in his
attached cover letter. EIS worked in conjunction with Fleming
Engineering on this report. Fleming Engineering has been responsible
for much of the civil engineering on the project and has produced the
associated maps.
Map King II-007 should be replaced with the attached map.
Maps King II-007A, B & C should be replaced with the attached maps.
"Safety as a Value"
GCC Energy, LLC
Post Office Box 2827
Durango, CO 81302
4424 County Road 120
Hesperus, CO 81326
Telephone: 970.385.4528
Facsimile: 970.385.4638
