<br />McClane Canyon Mining, LLC,
<br />P.O. Box 98, Loma, CO 81524,
<br />( has submitted a complete appli-
<br />cation for technical revision to
<br />the Division of Reclamation,
<br />Mining and Safety for Its McMc-
<br />Clane Canyon Mine, mining per-
<br />mit No. C-1980.004. The pro-
<br />posed revision will provide for
<br />the construction of a new coal
<br />mine waster disposal area in the
<br />area where the existing coverfill
<br />and topsoil piles are located. A
<br />new pond has been designed
<br />and will be constructed in the
<br />sagebrush flats south of the
<br />mine office building and south of
<br />McClane Creek. The existing
<br />topsoil stockpile and material _
<br />storage area will be relocated.
<br />The McClane Canyon Mine Is lo-
<br />cated approximately 19 miles
<br />north of Loma, CO along State
<br />Highway 139. East Salt Creek Is
<br />Immediately west of the permit
<br />boundary. The, permit area is'
<br />encompassed wlthin the follow-
<br />ing lands: Township 7 South,
<br />Range 102 West, 6th P.M. Sec-
<br />tion 3: Portions of lot 14 Section
<br />15: All Section 16: E 1/2 Section
<br />21: E112, E1/2 W112, SW1/4
<br />NW1/4, NW1/4 SW114 Section
<br />22: All section 27: N1/2 Section
<br />28: NW114 NE1/4, NE1/4NW1/4

<br />Canyon Quadrangle maps. A
