Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division received your adequacy responses on January 15, 2009 regarding Permit <br />Renewal No. 5 (RN-05) for the New Elk mine. Please find attached four revised pages for <br />the cost estimate. Please review, insert these revised pages in the proper location and <br />dispose of the previous pages respectively. If you could paginate the final cost estimate for <br />insertion into the bonding section of the approved permit and return a copy to the Division, <br />move forward with the approval of Permit Renewal No. 5. <br />Also, Map 11 and Map 12 were originally submitted as revised materials. You instructed the <br />Division to withdraw Map 12 from consideration in the renewal. Please let us know the final <br />disposition of Map 11 also. <br />This concludes our review of NECC responses. Please submit the requested information as <br />soon as possible.
