Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
Twentymile Coal Company (TCC) submitted NPDES Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR), December
2008 and Fourth Quarter 2008, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment CDPS permit no.
CO-0027154 on February 2, 2009.
Only Outfall 005A/05X/MON5 discharged during December 2008. No parameter exceedances were
reported for Outfall 005A. None of the other outfalls under this NPDES permit discharged during
December 2008.
TCC stated in the cover letter that outfall 003A discharged during fourth quarter 2008 but not in December.
The cover letter indicated that the outfall 003A report form was included in the report. The Division did
not find the report form for outfall 003A included in the report, instead the form for outfall 006A was
included. Outfall 006A reportedly did not discharge during fourth quarter 2008.
The Division received the November report form for outfall 003A in December 2008, and will consider
that a part the fourth quarter 2008 DMR.
The reports are in compliance with Rule 4.15.13(2)(iii).
