The Coyote Dam will <br />also allo:v storage of a certain amount of storm water so it may also <br />be clarified via sedimentation and eventually passed dovmstre=_m. ~„ <br />This rnethed will provide the means to meet the N.P.D.E.S, permit <br />tequiremerts. <br />The full capacity of the dam will be used only in the event of a 10 <br />year 24 hour stern. Any event with higher capaci*.y will not be re- <br />. tained but will pass through the emergency spill:•:ay. When the dam <br />is at ma:cimum capacity (due to the zicrementioned stern), the. water <br />_-_ - level will be lo:vered as clarification permits, via a principal spillway. <br />A low level decant ~viil keen the retained volume at one-third of ma:cimum <br />capacity most. of the time.
