were measured in September 2008. It is apparent that the frequency of data collection has varied
greatly from one location to another.
The Division is not opposed to the recommended reduction in monitoring frequency for the
Inclinometer, Benchmark and Piezometer locations at the site. However, please address the following
concern for the September 2008 GMR:
Based on the historic collection of data, the phrase "once per month during dry season" is vague
and open to interpretation. Please clarify the specific months during which data collection will
occur for each site, as a minimum.
With the exception of the point listed above, the September 2008 Semi-Annual Geotechnical
Monitoring Report provided by Trapper Mining, Inc. is in general compliance with the requirements of
Permit C-1981-010. Measurements have been made in accordance with the seasonal schedule
described on page 3-27a of the permit. Thank you for the timely submittal.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me. (303) 866-3567 ext 8134
Sincerely,
Jason Musick
Environmental Protection Specialist
