C-1981-010
Sep-2008 GMR Review - mlt
02 February 2009
For reference, I tabulated the frequency of data collected at each site, based on the
calendar month. The resulting spreadsheet is enclosed with this memorandum. It
appears that two inclinometers are still viable, along with three piezometers. Twenty
benchmarks, of varying types, were measured in September 2008. It is readily apparent
that the frequency of data collection has varied greatly from one location to another.
The Division is not opposed to the recommended reduction in monitoring frequency for
the Inclinometer, Benchmark and Piezometer locations at the site. However, based on the
historic collection of data, the phrase "once per month during dry season" is rather vague,
and open to interpretation. Please request that TMI and AAI clarify the specific months
during which data collection will occur for each site, as a minimum.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any additional questions that may arise.
xc: Sandy Brown, DRMS
