Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve <br />a revision application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Snowcap Coal <br />Company, Inc. on July 9, 2007, for the Roadside Portals. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice by <br />the Division in the The Daily Sentinel. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 5 miles north of Palisade, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 26, 27, 28, 34, and 35, T10S, R98W, 6th PM; Portions of Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, and 13, T11S, <br />R98W, 6th PM; Portions of Section 7, T11 S, R97W, 6th PM; all in Mesa County. <br />Copies of the revision application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder.
