Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />V <br />Re: Kirkland Construction LLLP, Debeque Gravel Pit, Pe it No. M-81-058, Approval of 112 <br />Reclamation Permit Technical Revision Package, TR-03. <br />Dear Mr. Baxter: <br />On January 26, 2009 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved the Technical Revision application <br />submitted to the Division on January 13, 2009, addressing the following: <br />• Increase total disturbance from 10.8 acres to 23 acres. Revise mining plan order to mine from existing pond <br />in phase 3 into phases 1 and 2 and the western portion of the original process area. <br />• Total proposed size of exposed groundwater is 11.6 acres. <br />The terms of the Technical Revision No.. 03 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M- <br />1981-058. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1981-058 remain in full force and effect. <br />Staff calculations estimate the additional cost to reclaim the site to be $37356.00 The estimate is based on the <br />increased reclamation liability associated with Technical Revision No. 03. Kirkland Construction LLLP must <br />submit and have accepted the Financial Warranty for the technical revision to the permit to become active. Please <br />review the estimate carefully.
