Corporation following the bond reduction process. This process can be initiated with either a
Technical Revision or a Bond Release application.
Response: BTU EC will review anticipated plans for the Empire property and determine whether or
not to proceed at this time with a bond reduction request. Given our intent to pursue a bond release for
the Williams Fork Strip Pit and Utah Tract, it may make sense to combine the bond release application
and a bond reduction request as one submittal.
Miscellaneous
9. The page numbers in the Table of Contents for text portions of the permit does not fit with the page
numbering in the text. For example, the Table of Contents states that Rule 2.04. 11 Fish and
Wildlife Information is on page 2.04.11-1. The text of the permit, however, has this information on
page 2.04-38. Please update the Table of Contents for the permit so it matches the text portions
of the permit.
Response: The Table of Contents has been reviewed for consistency with current permit text sections,
and revised and updated, as appropriate. Copies of revised Table of Contents pages accompany these
responses for replacement in the PAP.
