Three <br />total sedimentation ponds have been created to <br />collect stormwa[er runoff and sediment from the <br />disturbed area and associaCed undisturbed areas <br />from a 10-year, 24-hour precipitation event. Pond <br />locations are shown in Figure 1, page 18. Maximum <br />coal produced is estimated to be approximately 685 <br />tonsJday. <br />Pond number I is located on the north bank of the <br />Gunnison River near [he tipple facilities. The <br />discharge point.is located in the Southwest I/4 of <br />the Southeast 1/4 of Section 9. The discharge is <br />through an overflow weir located in the impoundment <br />berm along the river, Discharge from pond Hl shall <br />be designated as discharge point 001 and samples <br />shall be taken at [his point.
