Computer requirements to on the DRMS document imsging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchsse a= be in the Dl, . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the.tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-age documents. On a Windows.XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewat that comes with pre-Windows" computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "h&nView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.eom, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be conle'gured as your default.tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There we many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instrindons: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to ineWl. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autoiua program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView Program Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Pernk FM document Images can be viewed in the reception area of the DBMS otHce or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost coven the time and labor of making the CD. DRMS cannot proylde computer related support.
