Roads will be maintained with water bars and appropriate Road Use <br /> sedimentation controls. Water bar placement and design will be Permit(FSM <br /> approved by the authorized FS Officer. 2733.04b and <br /> FSM 7730) , <br /> BMP <br /> 52. All use and maintenance of existing NFSRs will be authorized by FSM <br /> and be consistent with a FS Road Use Permit. A performance bond 2733.04b and <br /> will be required per the terms of the road use permit. FSM 7730 <br />WATER RESOURCES <br />Ground Water 53. Any aquifers encountered in the shaft will be sealed by a grout BMP <br /> curtain wall extending 20 feet above and below aquifer. <br /> 54. Each drill or borehole, well, or other exposed underground opening BMP <br /> sealed, or otherwise managed to prevent acid or other toxic <br /> drainage from entering ground or surface waters and minimize <br /> disturbance to the prevailing hydrologic balance. <br />Surface Water 55.
