Roads will be kept clear of slides, fallen timber, and overhanging Federal Coal <br /> brush which obstructs visibility.* Lease <br /> Stipulation <br /> 4. Gravel or other selected surfacing material will not be bladed off of Road Use <br /> roads. Permit <br /> 5. Two segments of existing full-size road upgrades (totaling Colorado <br /> approximately'/z mile) in Poison Gulch conncecting to Elijah Park Division of <br /> will remain open after project completion to allow public hunting Wildlife, <br /> access as recommended by Colorado Division of Wildlife to Elijah BMP, Paonia <br /> Park (January 2007). The remainder of Poison Gulch will be Ranger <br /> decommissioned to a System ATV trail at the end of project use District <br /> (primary current use). <br /> 6. Existing "loop" road in T 13S, R 90W Section 33 and T 14S, R Colorado <br /> 90W Section 4 will be decommissioned by obliteration at the end of Division of <br /> the project, but existing spurs in T 14S, R 90W, W 1/2 Section 4 Wildlife, <br /> connecting Deer Creek Road to private land will remain open to BMP <br /> allow public hunting and private access without duplication of <br /> routes as recommended by Colorado Division of Wildlife. <br /> 7. MCC must provide specific improvement and use parameters using Forest Plan, <br /> the AASHTO design criteria (Guideline for geometric design of AASHTO <br /> very low volume roads (2001 edition) and Design guide for Design <br /> pavement structures (1993 edition}) for public roads (Service Standard, <br /> Levels 3, 4 and 5) or as approved by Forest Engineer, to be Road Use <br /> designed by a Colorado Registered Permit (FSM <br /> 2733.04b and <br /> FSM 7730), <br /> 36 CFR 228 <br /> E <br /> 8. Professional Engineer, and submitted for USFS approval for each Forest Plan, <br /> road segment. The Engineer's recommendations must be approved AASHTO <br /> and implemented before any project related traffic may use that part Design <br /> of the NFSR system. During the course of the project the Forest Standard, <br /> Service will provide oversight of road improvement activities and Road Use <br /> continued FS Engineering/FS designee monitoring of road Permit (FSM <br /> conditions resulting from project related traffic.
